Dr. Jackie Brideau

Owner  • Physical Therapist

Jackie is an Alexandria-based pediatric physical therapist with a long-standing passion for working with children and their families. Her approach is family-centered and collaborative, partnering closely with caregivers to support meaningful progress that fits naturally into everyday routines.

Before founding Bloom and Grow Pediatric Physical Therapy, Jackie worked throughout Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, supporting infants and toddlers with a wide range of motor and developmental needs. She now brings that experience to her local community, serving families in Alexandria, Arlington, and parts of Fairfax County.

Jackie believes that learning—including motor learning—happens best when a child feels safe and comfortable. This belief inspired her to create a mobile pediatric physical therapy practice, allowing services to take place in a child’s home, daycare, school, or local community settings. In-home care also offers families greater flexibility and helps reduce the stress of traveling to a clinic with a newborn or multiple children.
